Starting July 29th, we have the possibility to install Windows 10 OS on our devices, on both computers and tablet devices. As we saw lately, some hardware producers already launched Windows 10 slates, and Teclast is now launching such a device. We’re talking about the X98 Pro, a device that runs Windows 10 Home Edition.
According to the producer, in the future we might see a dual-boot variant of this tablet too. In terms of specs, the X98 Pro tablet arrives with a 9.7-inch iPad like display that offers a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and a pixel density of 264 ppi.
We get a quad-core Intel Atom X5-Z850 processor that is clocked at 2.24 GHz, 4 GB of LPDDR3 RAM memory, 64 GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot. On the connectivity side we’re notice the presence of WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, miniHDMI and a microUSB 2.0 port.
Teclast X98 Pro brings in a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing sensor. Inside the 540 grams case, we have a 8000 mAh battery. For the moment, this device is listed by 3rd party retailers for a $277 price tag.
