We’ve seen the Sony Xperia ZU aka Togari, or the Xperia Z Ultra pictured in an official invitation to its launch event and in a few leaked shots of its back, sides and front. However, this is the first time we get to see the handset activated, in the picture below.
This leak shows us that the 6.44 inch phablet is pretty similar to other Xperias in design, only much bigger. The device is expected to drop on July 4th during a special event in Paris and it may come with a stylus, since the official invitation include a pen in the image. This Xperia will support a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it will rely on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor at 2.2 GHz.
It will also have 2 GB of RAM, a 2.2 MP front camera and an 8 megapixel back camera, that may feel a bit underwhelming. We will also get a microSD card slot and I wonder if this device will be water resistant just like the Xperia Z or not… Xperia ZU will run Android 4.2.2 and it may come with special apps bundled with the stylus.
