Samsung has come up with two fresh ROMs for their WiFi tablets on this Thanksgiving day, bringing the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 to Jelly Bean and the Galaxy Tab 8.9 to ICS. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 WiFi was reported to get a potential JB update back in September and that one turned out to be false, but now it’s real!

Right now the people in France are the first to get the OTA goodness and if you wonder what’s inside you can see for yourselves, by getting the software from here. The software version is P3110XXCLK5 and moving on to the WiFi Galaxy Tab 8.9 Samsung rolled out the Android 4.0.4 update for that model, starting with Malaysia. You can get the new firmware from here if you own a Tab 8.9, you just have to look for the P7310 model.

The ideal thing is to wait for Samsung to deliver your update, keep that in mind. As usual we’re sad to see Samsung so late to the party, especially since they’re the biggest maker of Android devices and the biggest phone maker in the world. Being big actually means it’s tougher to manage your huge range of products, sadly…
