A mystery Samsung tablet, that’s codenamed CHOPIN-LTE has been spotted in the GeekBench database of devices passed through its test. The most interesting aspect about this device is its RAM quantity: 4 GB.

The device was passed through the test 4 times over the past 24 hours, so someone’s intensely testing the device. It all started on May 6th and the results are quite good, with 1005 points in the single core test and 3426 in the multi core test. CHOPIN-LTE runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and it comes with the new Intel generation of slate CPU, the Intel Atom x5-Z8500.

The chip is built on the 14 nm Cherry Trail platform and it has 4 cores clocked at 2.24 GHz. The performance is similar to the one of the Galaxy Note 4, judging by these benchmarks. We’ve been hearing rumors recently about the launch of a potential Galaxy Tab S2, so this may just be it. We’ll probably learn more at Computex or IFA…
