Samsung already had a few Fan Edition devices up it sleeve and now it’s coming up with more. Today marks the debut of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE tablet and also the Buds FE earbuds. We’re covering the tablet here after a lot of leaks.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE comes in two sizes: 10.9 inches for the Tab S9 FE and 12.4 inches for the Tab S9 FE+, each of them available in Wi-Fi and 5G versions. The Galaxy tablets pack IPS LCD displays with Full HD+ resolutions and 90 Hz refresh rates. There’s Samsung’s Vision Booster in the mix, for improved viewing outdoors and the acoustics are covered by dual speakers with Dolby Atmos.
Both Tab S9 FE models are IP68 rated and come bundled with S-Pen styli, which are also resilient to dust and water. Inside we find an Exynos 1380 processor, paired with 6 or 8 GB of RAM on the Tab S9 FE or 8 or 12 GB of RAM on the FE+ model. Storage is either 128 or 256 GB on both version and it can be expanded via microSD.
Other specs include main 12 megapixel cameras, with ultrawide lenses and a field of view of 120 degrees, plus a main 8 megapixel camera. Tab S9 FE+ adds something extra: an 8 MP ultrawide back camera. The basic model has an 8000 mAh battery, while the Plus model has a 10.000 mAh unit. Both come with 45W charging, but no charger in the box.
Tab S9 FE comes in Mint, Silver, Gray and Lavender, priced at 529 euros. The Tab S9 FE+ starts at 699 euros. Add 100 euros more and you also get 5G.
