We learned a few days ago about the existence of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablets, through a leak on the web. Well today, Samsung manages to confirm by mistake the products’ existence through an app changelog leak.
The Hancom Office Hshow 2014 is a productivity app, bundled with some Samsung devices and its latest changelog mentions support for the Galaxy Tab A and the unannounced Galaxy Tab S2. We knew this slate was coming next month, in LTE and WiFi versions, but also in 8 inch and 9.7 inch versions. It’s expected to pack a Super AMOLED display and offer a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels.
Specs include Android 5.0 Lollipop, a 64 bit Exynos processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and a microSD card slot. There’s also WiFi ac/b/g/n in the mix, LTE Category 6 and an 8 megapixel back camera, plus a front 2.1 MP shooter. The slates are expected to be thinner than the iPad Air and they’ll be released in China, Latin America, Canada, Europe and India.
