Samsung’s affordable Galaxy Tab E slate just got certified for launch on the Taiwanese market, where it’s codenamed SM-T3777. This is a LTE/WCDMA model, that pass certifications from the NCC on December 15th.

Certifications also show it easily works with Bluetooth and WiFi support. Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is priced at $179.99 in USA and it brings Android 5.0 Lollipop as the OS, a 2 megapixel front camera and a 5 MP back shooter. It also has 1.5 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and its 8 inch screen offers a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution.

The battery is rated at 13 hours of usage, but that’s the WiFi model, so figures may change for the LTE one. Interestingly we’ve recently seen the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 2016 certified by the FCC recently, with very similar specs, but also a bump in resolution. I wonder if the Taiwanese model is the current one or the 2016 one…
