The Samsung Galaxy Tab A family is about to get a new member, a smaller one dubbed Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0. The product may debut at MWC 2016, in the company of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, perhaps even a Galaxy Tab S3 slate model.
The folks of WinFuture have scored pictures of the Tab A 7.0 as a premiere and it appears that this model is coming in two versions: SM-T820 (WiFi only) and SM-T825 (LTE). Promoted as a “pocketable tablet”, this device comes with a plastic case, in black or white and seems to keep some design traits from the Galaxy A series phones.
On board we’ll find a 7 inch IPS 1280 x 800 pixel display and a quad core Exynos 3475 processor, clocked at 1.3 GHz and with 1.5 GB of RAM included, as well as 8 GB of storage. Galaxy Tab A 7.0 will bring a 4000 mAh battery, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and GPS, too. Android 5.1 Lollipop will be the OS of choice, with TouchWiz on top.
Rumors talk about a 169 euro price tag and a store debut around March-April. The LTE model will cost 219 euros.
