Last year will remain Samsung’s memory for a while now, since in no other year they suffered so much from patent lawsuits and all of that because of Apple. They had the company’s tablets banned in Australia and Germany and at some point Samsung came up with a workaround for that, releasing a special version of its slate that goes around the involved patents: Galaxy Tab 10.1N. Now we also get a Galaxy Tab 7.0N Plus…
This is, as you may have already figured out a redesigned Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and it’s a 7 inch tablet with a redone bezel and a visible metallic frame with integrated speakers that stand out more than on the original u nit. Samsung is supposed to be safe now from Apple’s lawyers with these fresh units and if you’re wondering about launch date and price I really have no idea when the product will be coming to Germany. At some point Apple wanted an injunction for the Galaxy Tab 10.1N as well, so they might try to pull this off with the Galaxy Tab 7.0N Plus too…
In case you’re wondering, the specs stay the same, with a 7 inch LCD Display, Android 3.2, a 1.2GHz processor (dual core), 1GB of RAM and the Mali 400 GPU for extra gaming power. The resolution here is 1024 x 600 pixels and Android Ice Cream Sandwich is scheduled to be received as an update.
