The folks of Sammobile got the confirmation from a Samsung insider regarding the upcoming Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 product. They got a list of codenames actually for some products that were found on Samsung’s service page.
Those include the codes SM-T210、SMT210R、SM-T210X、SM-T211、SM-T215、SM-T310、SM-T310、SM-T310X、SM-T311、SM-T312 and SM-T31, that are all visible on Sammy’s website. The source inside the company confirmed that the Galaxy Tab 3 will come to the market soon, in a 16 GB 3G flavour and 8 inch version in week 27 of the year, while the 16 GB WiFi version will come in week 24.
The product will arrive in white and I expect it to have a surprisingly low price point, in order to beat the iPad Mini, Nexus 7 and also not cannibalize the Galaxy Note 8.0, since it has the same diagonal. I expect something like an Exynos CPU inside, 1 or 2 GB of RAM and a decent resolution like 1280 x 800.
