During an event taking place today Samsung announced new tablets from the Galaxy Tab 3 lineup, ones for the Indian market. The new range includes a 3G version of the Galaxy Tab 3 211 (7.0) and 3G as well, plus WiFi versions of the Tab 3 311 and 310, which are the equivalents of the 8.0 version. The cheapest model is priced at Rs. 17,745 and it’s the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, with a dual core 1.2 GHz CPU and 1 GB of RAM.
The device runs Android 4.2 and packs a 7 inch 1024 x 600 pixel display, plus a 3 megapixel camera at the back and a front 1.3 MP shooter. We’ve also got WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, Full HD video playback, GPS, 8 GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot. The Tab 3 8.0 offers an 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, a 1.5 GHz dual core Exynos processor, a 5 megapixel camera at the back and a front 1.3 MP shooter, plus 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. The price tag is Rs 21.945 for the WiFi only version and 25.725 for the 3G one.
Tablets will come on July 21st with Vodafone providing 2 GB of free data for 2 months.
