We’re just weeks away from the start of the “Back to School” period, so it’s time for big retailers and device makers to come out with special offers for students. One of them has already leaked and can be seen below, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.9 Student Edition, that’s rumored to debut on Best Buy.
This device is supposed to enter stores as early as August 19th, to make sure you get back to school with the gear you need. The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Student Edition will keep the $249 price tag in the 8GB WiFi version, but for that price you get an extra keyboard dock and USB peripheral connector in the mix. With the Nexus 7 out there going for $200 in the 8GB version and offering a quad core Jelly Bean experience, which product will your student pocket learn to?
Keep in mind that even Apple officials were caught discussing the advantages of a 7 inch Galaxy Tab slate from Samsung, so this product has a bit of a fame right now. Or will you wait for the mysterious iPad Mini to surface?
