We’re in the Back to School time frame again, meaning that we’ll see all sorts of special offers for students and pupils. Some of them are related to tablets and phones, so it’s good to keep sharp about them. Today we show you the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Student Edition Bundle, that’s officially available in stores today.

The product is priced at $250 until September 1st, so you’ll start school with a brand new 7 inch tablet. The bundle includes the 8GB version of the slate finished in glossy white, plus a keyboard dock and USB peripheral connector. The places where you can find the item are Best Buy, Tiger Direct, Fry’s Electronics, Amazon and Costco. As far as software goes, you get Android 4.0 with TouchWiz on top and while this may not be a $200 Nexus 7, it’s still a pretty good bargain.

Also, you get an infrared connection on the slate, a microSD card slot and two cameras, that you can neglect, frankly speaking. The USB adapter offered with the device allows you to plug in USB drives, plus peripherals like USB mice. You also get preinstalled Polaris Office, making the slate perfect for editing and viewing Office documents.
