Malata is a company I’m pretty familiar with, having tested some Romanian Allview tablets, that are actually made by Chinese company Malata and rebranded for Eastern Europe. Well, now Malata is a back with a 100% clone of the Galaxy Tab 10.1, but one that sports a Nvidia Tegra 3 processor.
The device can be seen in action below and it’s such a good copy that it’s identical to the Galaxy Tab 10.1. This 10 inch model supports a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and comes with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, a 2MP front camera and a 5MP cam at the back, which is actually better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, that only has a 3MP shooter. The only difference I can spot is the fact that the camera light was switched to the right at the back. There’s even a proprietary port here and lack of ports and slots, like on the original unit.
This device also sports dual speakers, a 6500 mAh battery and no Andorid Market, so you’ll have to do with a special app store. The front is extremely glossy and the back is covered with a sweat-proof surface. The product will sell in Germany, of all countries, for 399 euros, that until Samsung decides to ban the slate….
