We’ve been hearing rumors about a 7 inch Galaxy Note for a while now, but without solid proof regarding its existence. The device was only leaked in NenaMark 2 benchmark results earlier this month, under the codename GT-N5100. Now the Note 7 is back, this time in another benchmark, GLBenchmark.
The latest leak reveals some interesting information, such as the 7.7 inch display here, at 1280 x 800 pixels and a quad core Exynos 1.6 GHz processor. The device runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and it will have an ARM Mali 400 GPU, plus we expected it to bundle the S Pen stylus, since it’s a Galaxy Note unit. So basically we don’t know much about the product, but we may learn more once MWC 2013 and CES 2013 start.
As usual, Samsung may be content with just showing a few models at these shows and they may dedicate a separate event to its new 2013 products, like the Galaxy S IV, Galaxy Note 7 and other smartphones and tablets. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 was a very interesting device with an excellent screen and the Note 7 is looking like a pretty nice successor.
