MWC 2012 included among many other things a showcasing of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, that at the time flaunted unimpressive specs. Those included a dual core 1.4 GHz Exynos processor, but in the meantime that was switched with a quad core CPU.
Back then the device came with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, 3MP camera and lacking a slot to store its S Pen, that was associated with the bigger Note. Last month Samsung announced that it could change the tablet and on Tuesday the device was displayed with said changes applied. The revised Galaxy Note 10.1 features a quad core Samsung Exynos processor and finally a holster for the S Pen, so that it can be stored without problems. The S Pen is also modified, now being slimmer.
However, if there are folks who actually want a thicker stylus, Sammy will provide an S Pen Holder Kit that allows one to put the thin S Pen inside a thicker body. As far as I know, the device is scheduled to launch in June and we’ll probably get more info about the camera and potential other modifications then. I’m hoping for a better resolution and better camera…
