We’ve all heard about 2 in 1 devices and convertibles, but Samsung wants to change the definition of a 2 in 1 model, by proposing a 7 inch phone as new IT thing. Their newcomer is dubbed Samsung Galaxy J Max and it’s all in rumor and speculation phase now.
We don’t even have a specs list for it, but we do know some interesting tidbits. It would appear that the giant newcomer will get the branding of a smartphone family and come with GSM cellular support, as well as LTE. Samsung did have a similar device quite a while ago, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, that was able to make calls, but it was a tablet first.
The new hybrid is supposed to look like a phone, act like a phone and use a not very premium build. The result will probably be a low midrange specced 7 incher with HD resolution, 2 GB of RAM and 13 MP camera, that’s my guess. I expect a price below $300, or even $250 here.
