It’s not time for IFA yet, don’t worry, but that didn’t stop ASUS from launching a new ultrabook/convertible model, with a 13.3 inch screen. It’s dubbed ASUS ZenBook Flip UX360CA and runs Windows 10. Details ensue below.

This unit has a 360 degree hinge, in the vein of the Lenovo Yoga models for example. This newcomer uses an Intel Core M chip and adopts a light and slim design. The chassis is made of aluminum and the whole thing weighs a bit under 2.9 pounds, while also measuring 13.9 mm in thickness. A multi gear metal mechanism takes care of the hinge thingie and offers a smooth closing and opening action.

Upfront we find a 13.3 inch Full HD IPS screen with 72% NTSC and sRGB color gamut, as well as 173 degree view angles. Inside there’s an Intel Core m3-6Y30, Intel HD Graphics 515, 8 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of SSD storage. Two USB 3.0 ports, one USB Type C and a micro HDMI take care of connectivity. This is an ultra silent model, with 12 hours of functioning time.

The price is $699 for the 256 GB version and $700 for the 512 GB model.
