We’ve been hearing for a while that future Chromebooks will be able to run Android apps and the latest to perform this feat is the leaked Samsung Chromebook Plus. This device is pictured below and detailed after the break.

The result is a convertible here, with a stylus in the mix and it’s all been listed on Best Buy by accident. Seeing how ASUS debuted a new Chromebook at CES, Samsung may well do the same over the following days. Chromebook Plus isn’t the final name though and sadly we also don’t have a clear specs list. We can see a slim all metal laptop here, one that comes probably with a 12 or 13 inch screen, as well as an USB Type C port and SD card slot.

Google and its partners have been expanding the lineup of hardware products with Chrome OS on board, in order to try and stay relevant in the biz, as Android tablets and tablets in general gently die down. They also want to provide more affordable alternatives to the Microsoft Surface, so that’s also the idea. Expect a similar $500 price tag here like the recently launched ASUS ChromeBook Flip.
