Samsung has a very nifty promotional initiative for Christmas, that involves building a piano out of Galaxy Tab S2 tablets. Samsung has been a roll with promos lately, gifting Netflix for a year or 6 months with the purchase of a device and then they made the piano in London.
The piano is placed at the Spitalfields Market in London, with both the body and the keyboard of the instrument being made of slates. 100 Galaxy Tab S2 models are used in this nifty machine. A reputed pianist was chosen to give the resulting piano a go: Myleene Klaas, who is also a singer, model and TV presenter in the UK.
We’ve recently reviewed the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 here and were impressed by its touchscreen, which means that playing the piano on it will be a breeze. It also has quite a good battery, so it can withstand long hours of being played. I wonder if the piano includes extra speakers or just the tablets’.
