AT&T recently showcased its lineup for the 2012 end and aside from a bunch of Nokia models we also saw the Samsung ATIV tablet with Windows 8 pictured below. This model packs a 11.6 inch HD display and opts for an Intel Atom dual core CPU, an Intel Clover Trail 1.5 GHz processor.
The screen is a bit supersized for a tablet that’s supposedly portable in this day and age. As shown in the demo, this machine is very fast, making the experience quite impressive. The device also has 64 GB of on board storage, SD expansion and a wide variety of ports, as well as dual front and back cameras. Windows 8 Pro is on board here and the product is expected to hit AT&T in November. AT&T’s holiday lineup will include the ASUS VivoTab RT and the Samsung ATIV Smart PC.
This is the only carrier offering these products, so it’s an exclusive release on AT&T. Retailers may also have them, but as far as carriers go, AT&T has priority. The 11.6 inch ATIV tablet runs on AT&T’s 4G network and it’s set to compete with the likes of the iPad 3 and Galaxy Note 10.1, for example.
