In spite of several setbacks regarding the Samsung Ativ series, after the Ativ S and Ativ Tab devices never seemed to be able to come to the market, today we get at least the ATIV Smart PC, in the LTE version. It just debuted in South Korea, Samsung’s homeland, where it’s selling for the equivalent of $1076.
Believe it or not, this device is even thinner than Sony’s crazy thin Xperia Tablet Z. The tablet is 6.2 mm thick and the whole package is 9.9 mm thick, with keyboard included. The ATIV Smart PC weighs 757 grams and comes with Intel’s Atom Clover Trail ticker, as well as 2 GB of RAM and a 11.6 inch HD display, 64 GB SSD and LTE.
There’s also S Pen support and Windows 8 as the OS. You’ll find this product locally via KT or Samsung Digital Plaza, in blue or white. Samsung ATIV Smart PC supports a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution on a LCD panel and incorporates a 4080 mAh battery, good enough for 6 days of standby time. Buying this unit?
