The Samsung Ativ Q is a stunning tablet, especially when it comes to its huge resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels, but apparently you can’t enjoy it just yet. The product has been delayed because of patent infringement issues, according to sources in the now.
This hybrid was announced two months ago and it can’t be launched because of patents related to running two operating systems on the same device. This product runs both Windows 8 and Android 4.2 and lets the user switch back and forth between them without a reboot. Supposedly, the matter is so serious, that even the launch of the device may get cancelled.
I have to remind you that we’re dealing with 13.3 inch slate here, with an Intel Core i5 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, micro HDMI and a USB 3.0. Its only flaws seemed to be the lack of GPS and camera, but with this delay the patent problem seems more serious than its flaws.
