Just a couple of hours ago we were talking about the possibility of Samsung joining the tablet-making crowd of companies, but now it turns out that they are already selling such a device. This was discovered by the folks of UMPC Portal, who uncovered the Samsung Q1 Ultra model, a 7 inch tablet PC, going for £359.

The device features 5 hours of battery life, a 1024 x 600 pixel screen and it weighs a mere 840 grams. Said product is available in the UK and its 7 inch display is a touchscreen, while the tablet also comes with a mini keypad, an 800 MHz Intel Stealey processor, a GMA950 GPU, stereo speakers, a stand, a 40GB HDD and the Windows XP OS, in a special edition of the device.

What’s really interesting is that Q1 Ultra has been on the market for over 2 years, but it’s still impressive enough to appeal to tablet adopters.
