Redmi Pad SE 4G is Xiaomi’s latest tablet, that has just been unveiled in India and it comes with an 8.7 inch HD+ screen. There’s also a rather familiar CPU inside and everything seems tailor made to keep the price low here.
The device comes with an 8.7 inch IPS LCD display with a HD+ resolution and also a 90 Hz refresh rate. There’s also a peak brightness of up to 600 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and is also TUV Rheinland certified for low blue light emissions and flicker free use.
It relies on a MediaTek Helio G85 processor, together with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of storage, plus a microSD card slot, that provides up to 2 TB extra storage. There are also stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, a 6650 mAh battery with 10W fast charging and voice calling support.
On the connectivity front there are dual SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3 and an USB-C port. Then there’s an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front shooter too. Available in Forest Green Ocean Blue and Urban Grey the device is priced at $131 for the 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage version.
