Realme held a big event today in India, where it unveiled the Realme Pad X tablet, which was already available in China ever since May. The Indian model has 5G connectivity as an extra and also a feature called Limelight, which is similar to the Apple Center Stage and works with Google Duo, Google Meet and Zoom.

The specs of the Indian version are the same with the ones from the Chinese version. I’m talking about a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, 10.95 inch screen with a 2000 x 1200 pixel resolution, plus 4 or 6 GB of RAM. There’s also 64 or 128 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and it runs on Android 11 with realme UI 3.0 for Pad. We find a 13 MP back camera, plus a front 8 MP ultrawide shooter with 105 degree angle.

For entertainment we have stereo quad speakers, Dolby Atmos, Hi Res audio. It all measures 7.1 mm in thickness and weighs 499 grams. There are also two accessories in the mix, the Realme Pencil and the Realme Smart Keyboard. The stylus supports 4096 levels of pressure and a 240 Hz touch sampling rate. It also has a 360 degree hidden button and magnetic charging. The keyboard is able to pair with the tablet via Bluetooth and it offers 1.3 mm key travel.

It also brings multi function shortcut keys and it’s made of skin friendly and environmentally friendly leather. Realme Pad X comes in Glacier Blue and Glowing Grey in India and it’s priced at $225 in the 4 GB RAM, 64 GB storage version. The 5G version starts at $325 and goes to $350 if you want extra RAM and storage. The Realme Pencil is $69 and the keyboard $63.
