Realme is ready to offer us yet another fresh tablet, the realme Pad 2 4G. This is a model that has just leaked in renders and specs and it seems to be quite the looker, in spite of having just midrange specs.

The source claims that the machine will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, which makes things interesting. Why? Realme experimented with Qualcomm on the Realme Pad X and Unisoc on the Realme Pad Mini. Now they’re going back to MediaTek for a chip that was found on the likes of realme 10 and POCO M5.

The Helio G99 will be accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Realme Pad 2 is also going to feature an 8360 mAh battery with 33W fast charging via USB-C port. There are 4 speaker grilles on board, two at the top and two at the bottom and no they’re not just for show, they actually deliver sound.

Believe it or not, the camera actually sounds solid, with a 20 MP back shooter with LED flash. The newcomer will run on Android 13 and realme UI 4.0. The updates are problematic, as the first Realme Pad is stick with Android 11, while the Realme Pad X runs on Android 12. The launch may happen in August or September.
