The Realme Pad tablet was finally unveiled today, after a long period of teasing and leaks. It’s a 10.4 inch tablet, with one of the slimmest waistlines around, a mere 6.9 mm. It’s also rather well priced and its hardware package is on the budget side.
We’re dealing with a slate that packs an IPS LCD 10.4 inch screen with a 2000 x 1200 pixel resolution. It’s powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 processor, accompanied by 3 or 4 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of storage, as well as a microSD. card slot. Realme Pad uses a main 8 megapixel camera and also a front camera with the same resolution. Inside we find a 7100 mAh battery with 18W charging and reverse charging support, making it useful as a power bank.
A quad speaker system is available here, with speakers in the 4 corners, with Dolby Atmos adaptive surround sound supported. The tablet runs on Android with Realme UI, a custom UI that takes advantage of the large screen estate. It’ll start selling from September 16th at noon on Realme.com, Flipkart and more stores.
