About a month ago Realme teased that it was entering a new segment, AIOT and also tablets and notebooks. It’s actually part of a salvo of new tablets, a premiere for Oppo, Vivo, Realme and a return for Xiaomi and Nokia. Realme is preparing a Realme Pad, which just leaked online with specs. Realme Book is also coming, a notebook, with a price that just appeared online.
By the way we saw Realme Pad leaking last weekend, with a pretty generic format, that feels like a Lenovo slate. We also learn today that the device packs an 8 megapixel 1/3.6 inch sensor at the front and back. There’s fixed focus at the front and autofocus at the back. We also get a 7000 mAh battery, flat edges like the iPad Pro ones, quad speakers and 6 or 8 GB of RAM. No idea what CPU lies inside, but my money is on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 or 870.
Realme Book received the 3C certification in the meantime and we thus learned that it comes with 65W charging. The device has an aluminium body and it should come with colorful hues, like blue, red and orange. It’ll have a 14 inch screen, with 3:2 aspect and also an Intel Core i3 or Core i5 Gen 11 CPU. The laptop runs on Windows 10, with the promise of Windows 11 updates.
It also has a chiclet keyboard and fingerprint reader, plus one USB-A port and two USB-C ports, as well as audio jack. The price thrown around here is around 454 euros, according to a listing. Some say we may see these devices launched on August 3rd with the Realme MagDart.
