Qualcomm recently showcased a mobile development platform known as Snapdragon S4 Liquid, that runs Android 4.0.1 Ice Cream Sandwich. The device comes with an on die LTE modem, dual 1080p cameras and a bunch of sensors that you’ll probably need for gaming.

The company behind the Snapdragon S4 said that Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will also get optimized for other processors from the Snapdragon series. I have to remind you that earlier this month Qualcomm hosted over 50 industry analysts from all over America, who were briefed on their future technologies. The tablet you see here was initially unveiled on The Engadget Show, with Android 2.3 at that time, but now it received Android 4.0, which it runs perfectly, or so I’ve heard.

It’s good news to hear that other Snapdragon CPUs will be optimized for Android 4.0, considering the large amount of devices with such processing solutions on board. I’m expecting to see some new Snapdragon S4 tablets at CES 2012 and at MWC too, but right now the analysts seem pretty excited about the Texas Instruments solutions… and even Intel’s rival products.
