Prestigio is a company from Russia that makes affordable tablets and the company introduced a new model this week. By the way, we’re also expecting a Prestigio slate to arrive to us for review purposes. The new model shown below is the updated Prestigio MultiIpad 7.0 Prime Duo 3G.
That name is certainly a mouthful and it’s basically a compact 7 inch slate, with a dual core ARM Cortex A9 MediaTek MT8377 processor and Android 4.1. Features include Bluetooth, GPS, FM radio and a lot of apps preinstalled, apparently. There’s a 2 megapixel camera at the back, video editing using the Office Suite Pro pack and a special eReading app called eReader Prestigio.
The device goes Full HD video playback and also seems to integrate a front camera. We’ve got no price for this model, but if you ask me, a sub $200 price tag would do its features justice. I see that my favourite video player, MX Player is also integrated, which is always a plus.
