Prestigio Technologies recently unveiled a new tablet called the MultiPad 5080 Pro, that packs an 8 inch touchscreen with a 800 x 600 pixel resolution. The slate runs Android 4.0 and it packs a 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor. The design of this product is pretty attractive, but its functionality is pretty limited.
We get 1GB of RAM here, 8 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and a 5000 mAh battery, with pretty long battery life. WiFi is also on board, as well as a front 0.3 megapixel camera and even a mini HDMI connector, that outputs the video content to a monitor, TV or projector. Prestigio MultiPad 5080 supports USB host and allows it to connect to external drives or mobile modems. The good news is that the product also brings over 40 preinstalled business apps and also some games and even a proprietary eBook Reader.
And finally, the last thing you need to know is that the new tablet is already on sale on the Russian market, where it’s priced at $230.
