Panasonic just introduced a brand new 20 inch 4K display tablet under the Toughpad branding and priced at $7000. The slate came at CES 2014 and features an Intel Core i7-3687U processor. You can check it out below:
There’s also Nvidia Quadro K1000M graphics inside and a 20 inch 3840 x 2560 IPS display on board. We’ve got 16 GB of RAM available, 256 GB of storage and 2 GB of video memory. Panasonic will offer the slate with Windows 8.1 Pro or Windows 7 Professional, while on the connectivity side we’ve got a rich variety of options.
Those include WiFi, Bluetooth, USB 3.0, Ethernet, SDXC card slot, HDMI and Mini DisplayPort. We’ve got a 720p front camera and a 5 megapixel camera at the back. Panasonic’s ToughPad 4K model is pretty thin considering its features, at a bit less than half an inch. It weighs 5.6 pounds and offers 2.5 hours of battery life.
There will be a cheaper Core i5 model in February with a price tag of $5999.
