Oukitel is a brand we’ve heard associated with tablets before, but this time we’re dealing with rugged tablets. The newcomer is dubbed Oukitel RT8 and it’s the very first Oukitel rugged tablet, but also brings a quite impressive battery life.

The RT8 packs a 20.000 mAh battery, that keeps almost 50% of its charge even after 30 days of being idle. Inside it we find a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The RT8 can easily handle daily tasks and gaming, thanks to the CPU and also thanks to an 11 inch 2K display, with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has a brightness of 500 nits, which makes it proper for direct sunlight viewing.

Other specs include a 32 MP front camera and a 48 MP back shooter. The price is $299.99 and the RT8 seems to be meant for budget conscious consumers, that need a tough device. Sadly, it doesn’t come with Android 14, but that’s a tradeoff for an almost indestructible body. There’s also a strap in the mix, adding to the robust construction.

The price is probably the best part about it.
