Oukitel is a brand I’ve come to associate with large battery phones and also tablets, at times. Now they’re just come up with a new slate model called Oukitel OT8, that features an 11 inch 2K display and an 8800 mAh battery.
The device comes after the OT5, which was unveiled last year. Oukitel OT8 is powered by an Unisoc Tiger T606 processor, it runs on Android 13 and it’ll have 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Its screen is most likely an LCD and the 8800 mAh battery comes with 18W charging. These images and specs were exclusively obtained by GSMArena by the way.
The Oukitel OT8 is promoted as a tablet for fun and education, as well as work. It’ll b just 7.8 mm in thickness and weigh 515 grams. The device has two cameras in the mix, a 13 MP primary unit and an 8 MP selfie camera. Other features and specs include quad speakers, a 3.5 mm audio jack and an USB-C port.
This is a dual SIM device, that also brings support for a stylus, sold separatedly. Oukitel OT8 will come in 3 color choices and it will be sold for around $180 starting mid January.
