Oukitel is a brand we associate with rugged phones, but it’s not only that. They also make tablets, such as the Oukitel OT5, that packs a 12 inch 2K display and a generous 11.000 mAh battery. We have more details below.
The Oukitel OT5 tablet has yet to launch, but we know it’s going to be packing a Helio G99 processor, 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It will run Android 13 out of the box, but it’s not very clear how many years of Android updates it’s going to get. The device features a 12 inch 2K LCD display and its 11.000 mAh battery charges at 18W.
There’s a 5 megapixel camera among the specs, integrated at the front, while at the back we find a 16 megapixel shooter, together with a 2 MP Macro cam. The Oukitel OT5 will be available in 3 colors and surprisingly enough it’s going to support a stylus and keyboard, sold separately. The tablet also has an USB-C port at the bottom, flanked by two speakers, plus there are two other speakers on the top frame.
The volume buttons and Power button are placed on the right side. This is a tablet “for fun and study” and it’s going to be 7.5 mm thick, but we don’t know its weight. The price is going to be less than $200 and we’re expecting a mid November debut.
