Alongside the flagship OnePlus 15, the company also unveiled a new tablet on October 27 — the OnePlus Pad 2. The device packs MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chip, a 3K 144Hz display, and a 10,400 mAh battery, marking a strong follow-up in the brand’s growing tablet lineup.
The naming may be a little confusing: internationally, OnePlus already launched the Pad 3 with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. That model succeeded the 2024 Pad 2 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. In China, however, the numbering is offset — meaning this new OnePlus Pad 2 might arrive in Europe under a different name, likely Pad 4 or Pad 5, since the number four is considered unlucky in Chinese culture.
Specs-wise, the OnePlus Pad 2 is a powerhouse. It sports a 12.1-inch 3K display (3000 × 2120 pixels) with a 144Hz refresh rate, 540Hz touch sampling, and 900 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, the Dimensity 9400+ easily surpasses 3 million points in AnTuTu, and OnePlus pairs it with an extensive vapor chamber cooling system covering over 46,000 mm² for sustained performance during gaming and multitasking.
Despite its large display, the tablet remains impressively thin and light — just 5.99 mm thick and 579 grams. It houses a 10,420 mAh battery supporting 67W SuperVOOC fast charging, and runs Android 16 with ColorOS 16 on top. OnePlus also adds productivity and gaming-oriented software features, as well as learning tools designed for students.
Price and Availability
The OnePlus Pad 2 starts at around €350 for the 8GB RAM / 256GB storage model. Versions with 12GB RAM and 16GB RAM / 512GB storage are priced roughly €50 and €100 higher, respectively.
