Today we’ve come across a very hot offer for an 8 inch tablet, the Onda V820w model, that stands out through the fact that it’s a dual boot tablet, with a pretty nice looking shell. It’s priced at just $81.81 on GearBest.com and proposes a combo of Windows 10 and Android 4.4 KitKat.
You can switch between the two OSes at the tap of a virtual button, it seems. The device packs an 8 inch IPS display with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, as well as a quad core Intel Z3735F processor, clocked at up to 1.3 GHz, 2 GB of RAM to accompany it and 32 GB of storage. There’s also a microSD card slot in the mix, with up to 128 GB support and the specs list includes Intel HD Graphics Gen 7, a 2 megapixel main camera and a front 0.3 MP shooter.
There’s WiFi 802.11 b/g/n here, a microHDMI port and a microUSB 2.0 port with OTG as well. It lets you attach a memory stick if need be, or maybe even a mouse or keyboard using a special adapter. Onda V820w has a polycarbonate case and it weighs 339 grams. Its slightly rounded back panel has a special texture, that keeps scratches at bay and improves grip, it seems.
