When it comes to gaming tablets available on the market we have the NDIVIA Shield Tablet, a device that should be in the update program to the Android 5.0 Lollipop. Today, we get to know that NVIDIA announced the fact that indeed the update will arrive on the Shield Tablet sometime this month.

Beside the few custom apps and the UI changes, we saw that the Shield tablet is pretty much a stock Android experience, close to the one Google is bringing on the Nexus phones and tablets. Also, NVIDIA will bring new versions of specialized apps, like a redesigned Dabbler and a new Shield HUB.

As you already know, NVIDIA Shiled tablet comes with a 8-inch Full HD display, a quad-core Nvidia Tegra K1 processor clocked at 2.2 GHz, 2 GB of RAM memory, 16 GB space of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a 5-megapixel rear camera and dual front-facing stereo speakers.
