If you’re looking for a tablet that can switch between Windows 7, Windows 8 and Android fast and offer a laptop and tablet experience, then the Novero Solana is the device for you. This slate will be shown by Novero at MWC 2012 in Barcelona and it will allow an easy conversion from laptop to tablet mode and viceversa.

The device’s recommended retail price is around $669 for the standard configuration with a 64GB SSD. This 10 inch convertible tablet has a 3G modem, WiFi and Bluetooth, an Intel Atom dual core N2600 Cedar Trail processor, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, 32-128GB of SSD, a 3 megapixel camera and all of that in a package that weighs 1.3 kg. There’s also a battery with 32Wh capacity, a full QWERTY keyboard with 6 rows of keys and a trackpad with multitouch and gesture support plus 2 control buttons.

Ports include a DC Power one, 2 USB 2.0 ones, an audio jack, one microphone jack, a HDMI port, a microSD card reader and a SIM card slot. Novero is a company that creates communication solutions and it was born out of the management buyout of Nokia’s Automotive division in 2008. Their customers include great car brands such as Audio, Skoda, Ford of Europe and Volkswagen.
