This week we saw Nokia’s first phablet, codenamed Bandit get an official name, courtesy of @evleaks. That name is Nokia Lumia 1520 and we’re expecting the 6 inch device to be unveiled at the end of September. Till that happens we’re being treated with an image leak today.

In the picture above you can see the phablet compared to the Lumia 1020 and there’s a pretty big difference in size between the two. Nokia Lumia 1520 is expected to feature a 6 inch 1080p display, a polycarbonate body and a 20 megapixel Pureview camera at the back, similar to the cam on the Lumia 925 as far as design goes.

We may also get a quad core Snapdragon processor and Windows Phone 8 GDR3 as the OS. The device is shown here with what looks like an optional back case with a front cover to protect the display. As shown in the image, there are 3 columns of Live Tiles now, allowing you to fit a double wide tile next to a medium sized one.
