After it was mentioned that the Nexus 9 tablet will get Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update soon, today the software package is rolling out to users and it brings some fixes in the package. The update comes either OTA (over the air), either as a factory image that can be installed manually on the tablet.
Among the new features included in Android 5.1.1we have a setting called Interruptions that brings notifications only when you get Events and Reminders, Calls, or Messages. We can set Calls to interrupt just a single contact. Another introduction is Screen Pinning, a feature that let us keep one screen stuck to the display.
Lastly, it seems that the Quick Settings menu also got an update, so we get drop-down menus near the WiFi and Bluetooth buttons. As you may know, the Nexus 9 tablet is for a while on the market, but for the moment is not so popular as the Nexus 7. Do you have a Nexus 9 tablet already?
