Verizon is probably one of the last companies to sell the Nexus 7 2013, but it’s doing so in style. Now they also have a special offer, that includes a Nexus 7 2013 priced at $49.99 with a 2 year contract.

This is quite the price drop from $249.99 to $49.99 in the 32 GB version. Off contract, the same device is priced at $349.99 from Verizon. The 2013 Nexus 7 is still a very good tablet even more than half a year after its release. It still has the brightest screen out there and the acoustic experience is quite good.

There’s also a $10 a month fee to add to the Share Everything Plan, plus a $35 activation fee. The latter shows up on the next wireless bill. You can get the product from here, in case it tempts you. Keep in mind that we’re about two months from a potential Nexus 8 release…
