It’s a leaky weekend, with the likes of Motorola X and Nexus 7 2 hitting the web, in specs and pics. The new Nexus 7 tablet just got an in store launch date of July 31st and I have to remind you that Google has an event scheduled for July 24th, that may just see the device debuting.
Nexus 7 2 will be priced at $269, supposedly and that’s the price tag of the 32 GB unit, in case you’re wondering. A new leak shows us what the specs of the newcomer may be. They include a quad core 1.5 GHz processor, Android 4.3 as the OS and the usual 7 inch Full HD display. There’s also a mention of a pair of cameras: a 1.2 MP front one and a 5 MP one at the back.
We’ve got Slim Port support for playing 1080p content on the TV, wireless charging and for those wondering, the July 31st launch date applies to the Staples stores. Tablets are expected to arrive even earlier at other locations. We’ll learn more on the 24th!
