There have been a lot of rumors regarding a refresh of the Nexus 10 tablet over the past months, with ASUS being mentioned as the favourite to make this product. However, nothing came true and today the speculations appear yet again, as the 32 GB Nexus 10 runs out of stock.
The device is due a refresh, but with the 8 inch and 7 inch segments so popular nowadays Google may not even be trying to tackle the 10 inch segment as well as it should. Back in late October the 16 GB Nexus 10 disappeared from inventory and it hasn’t been back since. With the 32 GB out now, this is a sign we’re ready for something new.
The Nexus 10 has been available since 2012 and it’s starting to feel old. Aside from the ASUS rumors there was another source saying that Samsung was to yet again take over this task, while a slight 1% leaned towards LG. The thing is that aside from MWC and Google I/O there’s no special event in the first half of the year fit for such a launch… Maybe a launch of the Nexus 10 2014 without special conferences?
