The Surface 3 tablet, rumored to debut during a Microsoft event taking place in 2 days is now said to also get a lower end version with a Core i3 CPU. Aside from the high end Surface Pro we’ll see this model and a potential Surface Mini, judging by the rumors from the past days.
Some price points have also hit the web, so you’ll be starting off at $799 for the Core i3 4 GB RAM 64 GB storage unit and pay $999 for the 128 GB version with the same CPU and amount of RAM. You can go up to $1949 for the 512 GB version with an i7 and 8 GB of RAM. The Surface Pro family stays expensive and premium and recent rumors have also talked about bigger diagonals, like 12 inches.
New covers colored in black, purple and cyan were also mentioned and also a red one, potentially limited to Microsoft Stores. Rumors said that the Surface 3 will include smaller bezels, a larger screen size and the Windows Button will be relocated to the vertical side and not the horizontal one.
