Lenovo has been quite prolific about tablet launches lately and now it appears they’re preparing a new model, a new ThinkPad unit that is. Hints have appeared in Australia related to a Lenovo 10 inch version of the ThinkPad 8 slate.
The ThinkPad 10 has been listed by the company’s Australian branch ahead of its official announcement. The new Windows slate is said to share many of the features of the smaller unit. This means we get a 1.6 GHz quad core Atom CPU, up to 4 GB of RAM, a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution and up to 128 GB of storage, as well as an 8 megapixel back camera and 2 MP front cam.
The ThinkPad 10 will also get optional gear and stuff like LTE data and pen input. After some time we’ll get accessories for it, like the dock, keyboard dock and keyboard case. The price is expected to be higher than the $399 of the ThinkPad 8, since we are getting more screen estate and more power.
