Although most sites out there are calling the new Samsung tablet Galaxy Tab 2, it could be that the device will actually sport another name. Galaxy Tab 10.1 has been thrown around a bit lately, although this is a pretty strange branding, that uses the diagonal size as identification mark.

The promo image above was leaked by an important European mobile carrier and we should mention that we’ll get all facts in a couple of hours, when Samsung plans to announce the dual core slate. We remind you that this device supports a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and runs Android 3.0 Honeycomb, in the stock version.

This new slate also comes with two cameras: an 8MP one at the back with full 1080p video capture and a 1.3MP front webcam. We’re also expecting the Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone to be detailed later on. What branding would you choose? Galaxy Tab 2, the Tab II or Tab 10.1?
