There’s yet another new ASUS FonePad version coming and this one is the ASUS FonePad HD 7, that was already rumored since last month. Bluetooth SIG already published an image of it on the web, most likely without permission from ASUS.
The authority confirms the model number of the device, K00E and the fact it comes with an Intel Atom Z2560 Clover Trail+ CPU, unlike the original FonePad, that had the older Intel Atom Z2420 Lexington chipset. Other specs confirmed for this device include 3G connectivity, dual speakers, a 7 inch display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and apparently this one also has a 5 megapixel rear camera and 1 GB of RAM.
We’ll get 8 GB to 32 GB of storage and Android 4.2 Jelly bean. The FonePad HD 7 is expected to be only a bit more expensive than the original FonePad that goes for 230 euros in Europe right now. No idea when ASUS will announce the product, but we suppose it may happen pretty soon.
