Google is very keen on puzzles, enigmas and easter eggs, so they never hesitate to post teasers or even include goodies in their Android releases. As expected Android 4.4 KitKat is no exception and it’s getting a bunch of teasers and hints posted on the web.
Nestle’s @KitKat Twitter account posted two very interesting musical references, that seem to indicate that something major will happen on the 28th this month. The first one says “everybody dance now”, pointing towards the C+C Music Factory, also known as The 28th Street Crew, so number 28 appears once.
Then there’s a second hint saying “This Is It”, a potential reference to the Michael Jackson movie, that reached the stores on October 28th. However, there are some arguments to cast a doubt on that date. For example, the C+C Music Factory released a hit single on October 18th and the album version of This is It hit the US on October 26th.
Then there’s that thing about October 29th, which is the anniversary of the Nexus 4 and Android 4.2 launch, so it’s a proper launch date.
